THE COMMUNITY APPROACH: So you think you’ve got the world of running your own business all figured out?   Everybody needs support. Even the most successful entrepreneurs need leaders and mentors to stay at the top of their game. They seek out continued education on technology, market needs, and … that are always changing and. That’s where we come in.

SUPPORT NETWORK: 90% of our members are business owners. These are peers that “get it”. They understand the challenges, trials, joys and triumphs of building and growing a business. Once you’ve exhausted your family and friends from talking about all those highs and lows of your business – come see us. It’s like therapy. For business.

KNOWLEDGE NETWORK: Were you once a student at The Hard Knocks School? So were we – and dropped out. Luckily we enrolled in Legacy Community College. We love how the “lift-as-you-climb” form of mentoring encourages everyone to be a teacher just as they are a learner. It’s a much better path to success. Everyone there has something to share about their past so we don’t have to go back.

ACCOUNTABILITY NETWORK: Di d you start that social media campaign? Why haven’t you met with your QuickBooks advisor on setting up those new clients? We aren’t here to nag, but we know many small business owners NEED an accountability partner. You’ll find it in our community meeting breakout sessions and ACCEL groups.

REFERRAL NETWORK: We’re not like BNI and don’t believe that you should come to the party ready to promote someone in the group – especially if you’re not comfortable with a particular person or service. Networking happens naturally at Legacy Connection. Since anyone is welcome we don’t offer exclusivity to a particular industry and feel strongly that this promotes a healthy exchange of business. So check your ego at the door, folks.

RESOURCE NETWORK: This is like the bread and butter of our organization – like comfort food. Full of carbs and fat. Our expansive network of resources is a mixed batch of unique business owners, partnering organizations, and key assets to business development. They graciously agree to come to our table and share their knowledge both online and in person on a regular basis.
